Marilynese's obituary
Marilynese “Lynn” Vialpando passed away peacefully in her sleep with a smile on her face on the morning of September 24.
Born on July 13th 1958. She is survived by her devoted husband and love of her life, Gilbert Vialpando; her son, James Christensen; her grandson, Joshua Devlin Christensen; her great grandchildren, Lilliana Devlyn Christensen and Lukas James Roland Christensen; and many cherished siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Lynn lived with a pure, creative and loving heart. A beautiful woman inside and outside. She explored many artistic mediums—jewelry, leather work, photo projects, writing, and more—and was deeply proud to learn the sacred art of dreamcatcher-making from her mother-in-law. Her love of music was boundless—she cherished discovering new sounds and sharing them with everyone she cared about. She believed in the magic woven into everyday life, delighting in fantasy stories, unicorns, vampires and fairies. As a Cancerian, she was always drawn to the loving and healing flow of rivers, lakes, and oceans.
A true innocent on this earth. She followed the golden rule faithfully and opened her home and heart to anyone in need. Known for her sweet treats, her perfect cup of tea, her magical healing potions and her endless kindness, Lynn’s compassion was unconditional.
To her family and friends, she was more than a wife, mother, grandmother sister and auntie—she was a nurturer, a safe place, and a source of unwavering love and pure acceptance.
Let us remember her light, her laughter, and the genuine magic she carried within her. May we honor her by living with the same acceptance, kindness, and generosity she gave so freely. May she rest in peace.
