It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn "Mugsy" Taylor, who departed this life on June 17, 2025. Born on July 23, 1935, Marilyn was a beacon of resilience and positivity. She was affectionately known as Mugsy, but always preferred to be called Marilyn.

Her spirit, strength, and warmth touched all who knew her, leaving indelible imprints on our hearts. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Ann Horton, and son, Dr. Mark Taylor, who will forever cherish her memory.

She was married to Hugh Jackson Taylor in 1954. Together they had two children, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The grandchildren are: Courtney Taylor Ortiz (Logan Ortiz), Dakota Horton (Emily Hicks Horton) Matt Taylor (Lidia D'Asta), and Dr. Marshall Taylor.  The great grandchildren are: Aspen and Abel D' Asta, Branson Taylor, Forest and Cozette Ortiz,  Lincoln and Jasper Horton,  

As we bid farewell to Marilyn, we celebrate her life and the love and light that she brought into this world. She will be deeply missed.
