Marilyn's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn "Nan" Tatner, born on April 22, 1952, and peacefully left us on April 5, 2026. Known affectionately as "Nan" to friends and family. Her light and laughter will be profoundly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a mother, grandmother, and friend, Marilyn's smart, caring, loving, and funny personality touched the lives of many. Her life was a testament to the simple truth she sincerely believed in - that love makes one rich. It was not wealth, fame, or recognition that Marilyn sought. Instead, she found her riches in the love of her family and friends, and in the joy of making others smile.

Her legacy is one of deep familial love and dedication. She showed us, through her actions, what it truly means to love unconditionally and trust wholeheartedly. Moreover, her love extended far beyond human companions. Marilyn had an unrestrained passion for cats. Her home was often the sanctuary for neighborhood strays, creating a warm and welcoming haven for feline friends.

Marilyn is survived by her Husband, Douglas "Chris" Tatner, her sons, Rob, Rick, Doug II and Mike. Her grandchildren, Justin, Chelsy, Jasmine, Shyanne, Kiara and Korrin as well as multiple great grandchildren

Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved son, Scott Theis. His passing left an indelible mark on Marilyn's heart, yet her strength and resilience in the face of such loss were utterly inspiring.

May the angels guide her on her journey to paradise. Remembering Marilyn, we are reminded to live with love in our hearts, embrace our families, and never miss a chance to extend a helping hand. In her honor, love deeply, and remember that in love, we truly find our riches.
