Marilyn was a fiercely independent, highly intelligent woman who loved her two sons (Jonathan and Michael), her daughter-in-law (Meredith) and her grandchildren (Ella and Jack) very much.

As a single mother, raising two young boys, she put herself though college and graduate school earning a MSW from New York University. She had an illustrious career, serving as a Director of Social Work for VA Hospitals in both San Diego, California and in Brooklyn, New York.

She loved to play tennis, hike in the mountains and, most of all, swimming in the ocean.

She will always be in our hearts and we will all miss her very much.
