Marilyn's obituary

Marilyn E. (Lebanno) Sorge, of White Oak, unexpectedly passed on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the age of 71. Marilyn was the beloved wife of Patrick Sorge. She was the loving mother of Jonathon Sorge (Bill Podolski) and Heather (Frank) Madonna, adoring grandmother of Giovanni Madonna. Marilyn was preceded in passing by her parents, Philip and Marie (O’Brien) Lebanno, brothers, Bill and Bud Lebanno, and sister, Arlene Morosko. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Marilyn worked as a Registered Nurse for 46 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Hollywood Beach, going on cruises, and going to the casino. She loved to cook, especially lasagna for the masses. She will fondly be remembered by all for her great sense of humor. Her family will remember her as a devoted wife and mother, and an adoring grandmother to Giovanni.

Per Marilyn’s wishes, all services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding. Please visit us at www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
