It is with great sadness The Family of Marilyn J. Michaels (86) of Pittsburgh Announces Her peaceful passing on December 7th 2020,amongst Family and Our Lord. She was Born November 28th 1934 in Fairmont West Virginia but Lived the majority of Her adult Life in Her Beloved Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd & Margaret Riggs(Satterfield).She is preceded in death By Her Husband John Michaels (2006), She was a Wife,Mother,Sister & Friend to so many. She was a proud graduate of Mercy School of Nursing Class of "55" & She had a distinguished career as a Registered Nurse ,working in all facets of Nursing including but not limited to Acute Care and Home Care & Retiring from Allegheny General in 2000. She got the most joy out of Her (5) Children and to see them in Happy & Successful Lives, She Loved her Pittsburgh Sports Teams & Her City. She was an extremely Hardworking, Loving , and Unselfish Woman who Always gave all of herself to others in her personal & professional life. She is survived by Her (5) Children ,Kelly(Robert)Kelty, Eileen Michaels ,Leslie(Barry)Baker,John (Eileen) Michaels , Bill(Juliane)Michaels ,(13) grandchildren ,(1) great grandchild, & Her Brother Lloyd (Skip) Riggs of Walnut Creek CA. She is also survived by many neices & nephews. She will be greatly missed by many But Loved Forever by All. She had an infinite Love for Her Family and especially Our Lord. She left her mark on this world & on all her knew her and is now Home with Our Lord. Her Burial Ceremony will be at Bethel Cemetery ,2999 Bethel Church Road,Bethel Park Pa,15102 on December 22nd at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest next to her Mother Margaret Riggs (Satterfield). Donations can be made in the memory of Marilyn to The M.S.(Multiple Sclerosis)Society & or The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, these two diseases touched her Family profoundly. A Bible verse She Loved & referenced in Her Life was (John 14:1)"Let your Hearts not be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you." Goodbye Momma for now, We will Love you Always and May God Rest your Soul in Heaven.
