Marilyn Marie Hunter, 67, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on September 21, 2023. She was born on November 16, 1955. 

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Hunter, her daughter Lynsey Nunez (Hunter), son-in-law Juan Nunez, and grandsons Leon and Luca Nunez. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph Mutka and Jon Mutka (Christina Mutka), step-sister Susan Reidy (Brian Reidy), and nephews Austin Mutka (Alexandra Mutka), Brandon Mutka, Kalen Mutka, Jeremy Gugino, Joey Gugino, and Shawn Reidy. Marilyn is also remembered by her nieces Candice Schmidt (Mutka), Kaili Mutka, Jenny Niemann, and Marybeth Reidy, as well as great nieces Taylor Reese (Odell), Angelica Morales, and Grace Schmidt, and great nephews Alex Morales and James Schmidt. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Ramona Mutka (Gross), father Edward "Sonny" Mutka, step-father Joseph "Buddy" Mutka, brother Edward Mutka (Karen Mutka), and sister Gail Gugino (Mark Gugino).

A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323, on Friday, October 13th, 2023, from 3pm-5pm AZ Time. Her service will be live streamed for those that cannot attend in person.
