Marilyn Ann Dow was born on May 2, 1941 and gained her angel wings on September 25, 2022 in Port Orange, FL after losing her battle with COPD. Marilyn was 81 years old. Marilyn's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. She will forever continue to live on in our hearts. Not a day went by where Marilyn didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. Marilyn is survived by her sister, Grace Johnson, her loving children, Michelle (Roy) Wilson and Jonathan (Nicole) McQueary, her grandchildren, Summer, Melissa (Jarod), Lori, Ashley (Josh), Roy, Alexis, Ahnah, Alayna, and Mary, her 6 great-grandchildren , and countless friends. Marilyn was predeceased by her sisters, brothers, and her daughter Alma Cook. Our family is grateful to know that Marilyn is finally at peace. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held on October 9, 2022 at the Norwood Community Center, 1810 Courtland Ave, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please join us in celebrating her beautiful life.
