Our love to Marilyn’s family♥️we were so shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She was such a kind and loving soul. She was one of the best Aunts around! Always so thoughtful and giving to our family as we were growing up! I have so many wonderful memories that include her! When I think of all the kindness and love she has shown me through all my growing up years till present, it just warms my heart and makes me smile! What a blessing and privilege it was to know and love my Aunt Marilyn. You will be missed beyond words but your memories will live on forever. Peace and love to the family♥️

This is a poem written by my mother, Rita Reed, after Marilyn's passing. Thanks for these beautiful words.
Marilyn left this weary world today. Her worn body left behind, her spirit free to soar.
All burdens lifted, peace on her shoulders now. Her love still lives in those left behind.
Her memory molds them, holds them. Her final journey, a time to rest, a time to play, a time to fly.
Good bye, beautiful lady.

Several years ago, Marilyn adopted Frosty, the white cat with her in the photo on this website. Frosty was a great companion but also gave Marilyn a fair amount of trouble. Most notably, he fell or jumped from the third floor balcony of her Eagan condo causing injuries that cost him one of his front legs. Nonetheless, he recovered and thrived in her care. You will be pleased to know that Frosty has found a new home with Scott, often snuggling next to him while he works.
