It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marie T. Brault, 69, of Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Marie peacefully passed away on February 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Marie was born on March 8, 1955, to Bernard Brault and Isabel (Gonzalez-Larrinaga) Brault in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Marie was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Lesley University.

Marie was strong in her Christian faith and loved attending church and prayer groups, being outside, taking long walks, enjoying the beach, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marie was predeceased by two sisters, Bernadette Brault and Elizabeth Augustine, as well as her mother and father Bernard Brault and Isabel Brault. She is survived by her four daughters Teresa Santos, Nina Passerini, Renée Santos and Amanda Crosby; her sister Pauline Briggs, and brother Bernard Brault; her five grandchildren Avery Keshel, Daniel Passerini, James Passerini, Emma Curi and Isabel Curi and her great-granddaughter Eleanor Keshel.

Services will be held at St. Adelaide’s Catholic Church on February 26, 2025 at 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s name to Women for Women International, an organization Marie supported.
