That is a beautiful obituary, communicated very well what an inspiration Maria was and still is for our whole family. She was the oldest of nana’s grandchildren, and I was the youngest. She was about 15 years my elder, Rachel is only 3 years younger than me. But my childhood is filled with memories of her, her first house down the street from auntie Chris when Rachel was just a baby, going to the home her and Robbie shared while they were married, pretty much every summer trip to beach. The memories have lasted because how memorable she was, fun and full of energy! Our family is kind of a matriarchy with nana, mom, and auntie Chris leading the way, and Maria upheld that strong woman tradition leading the way for her family. And all those amazing traits talked about in the obituary, she passed on to her children, the compassion and love and strength and sense of duty to family live on in you guys Ashley, Rachel, and even Jacob. I love you guys. 

That was beautiful Rachel everything you said I seen in the family and friends I started working with Maria I think through Adventist she taught me so much as a caregiver your family welcome me into their home their family I never felt like an outsider I appreciate are y'all welcome me to the family watching Austin being born and all the other kids after that family functions it was just a joy working with your family if there's anything I could do for y'all please don't hesitate Nana your grandma everything Corey and your uncle family was just everything and I appreciate y'all I'm sorry about my reals passing but she touched everybody so dearly and I will shoot will truly be missed Love you guys
