Maria's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Gonzalez, a beloved woman, mother, daughter, and grandmother. Born on October 16, 1951, Maria lived a vibrant, fulfilling life before her peaceful departure on January 15, 2024.
Maria's life was beautifully shared and intertwined with her husband, Everardo Gonzalez, whom she married in 1978. Together, they made a significant decision to move to Arizona in 2000 where they spent many cherished years.
Maria possessed a unique charm, her personality best described as caring, compassionate, and heartfelt. She found joy and comfort in the small details of life. From her affinity for the colors blue and red, to her love for shrimp scampi with Alfredo sauce, coconut water, and music of The Temptations. Her passion extended to performances in Long Beach, watching movies, taking long beach walks, and her exceptionally favorite vacation spot, Hawaii.
Maria was a strong advocate for causes she held dear to her heart, most notably the ASPCA. She was known for her generosity, a legacy that will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.
One of Maria’s most profound lessons she strived to share was to 'Respect each other as they’re your own family.' Her nurturing way of guiding those around her, coupled with her extraordinary insight into enjoying life with family and friends, will forever be etched into our memories.
Maria will be remembered as an outstandingly caring and outgoing person. She will be deeply missed by all. As we honor and remember Maria, we carry forward the lessons, love, and warmth she so graciously provided. Her radiant spirit continues to inspire and guide us. Maria Gonzalez, forever in our hearts, forever cherished.
