Maria del's obituary
Our beloved Grandmother Maria del Carmen Rodriguez entered God’s Kingdom on 12/25/2021 after a battle with COVID-19. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughter Ania and granddaughter Frida. As a loved daughter of God, she was able to also enjoy the company of her Daughter Catalina and Son Moises, grandkids, and great grandkids through messages and videos.
Born in Parral Chihuahua Mexico to parents Maclovio Rodriguez Y Catalina Cardenas. Carmen was described as a bundle of happiness love and joy in the lord.
Around the 1970s, she met Rey Ceja and together they went on to have children: Catalina, Moises, and Ania. Carmen was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Carmen was passionate about studying the word of God as well as gardening, crafting, painting, tailoring clothing, collecting coins and politics.
Carmen requested a Celebration of life to be held in her name as opposed to traditional funeral services.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday January 23rd, 2022, at MOT Senior Center Inc. 300 S Scott St, Middletown, DE 19709 starting at 10:30 am.
