Maria Virginia Butler, 77, went home to the Lord to start her Heavenly rest on Monday, December 12th 2022, in Arlington, Tx. She was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Lee Butler, 3 brothers, 1 sister and her parents.

Maria was born on December 23rd 1944 in the Philippines to parents Feliza and Cefriano Tahud. She studied dressmaking and tailoring and ultimately perfected her craft as a seamstress. She met her husband, Robert, while he was stationed in the Philippines (Air Force) and fell in love. Her marriage and her 4 children brought her much joy. Maria truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends, attending church and spending lots of time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of her parish and enjoyed giving back to her community. One of her favorite hobbies also included lots of fun nights playing Bingo with friends.  Maria was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by 1 sister, Esmerlda (Noel) Lim, her 4 children; Natasha Bebeth (Jonathan) Wilson, Grace Butler, Robert A. Butler and Jeffrey V. (Sharon) Butler; Grandchildren Christina (Adam) Balderas, Devin (Mallory) Watson, Christopher (Judy) Kaiser, Cody Kaiser, Kendal Harrell and one Great-grandchild, Marcus Pogue. Private services will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Arlington, Tx.
