Maria Alejandra Barrera, a beloved member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Landover Hills, passed away on March 5, 2025. She was 78 years old.

Maria was the cherished wife of Elias Miguel Gonzalez of 64 years of marriage, a devoted mother of six children, a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren, and a sister to six siblings. Her warmth, kindness, and faith were evident in all aspects of her life, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Maria’s family invites all who knew her to join them in celebrating her life at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, located at, 7301 Annapolis rd. Landover Hill, MD 20874. Monday, March 10, 2025, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

Dear friends and family,

As we gather to celebrate and honor Alejandra beautiful life, we ask that you please wear neutral colors in her memory. Her favorite color was pink, and she had such a bright and loving spirit. To reflect that, we encourage light pink, white, khaki, or brown attire.

Thank you for being part of this tribute to her life and the joy she brought to us all.
