Deel, Margo Lynn, passed away peacefully in her parents arms on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Margo was born February 17, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Adam and Olivia (Zuba) Deel.

Margo was born with a rare mitochondrial genetic condition. It’s so rare that she is the only known person to be born with this in the United States. Her medical team went above and beyond to find a treatment for her condition. It is unknown how many medical professionals were involved in her journey. She fought against the odds for 39 days. Her family is deeply saddeneed by her passing. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

In addition to her loving parents, survivors include one sister, Emma Deel; maternal grandparents, Kymberly Zuba and John P. Zuba; paternal grandmother, Peggy Monce; great grandparents, John L. Zuba and Richard Martin; one aunt, Natalie (Zach) Nielsen; one uncle, Jacob (Infiniti) Deel; and cousins, Maggie, Lucy and Theo Nielsen. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dennis Deel; and great grandparents, Eleanor & Harry Flisher, Regina Zuba, Bonnie Martin, and Betty & Eugene Deel. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Beth Clothier officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior, beginning at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
