Margarethe Sawyer Burton, 86, passed away peacefully on April 25 under the care of Haven Hospice of Orange park, Fl. She was born on August 1, 1939, in Ellenville, New York, to Virginia and Robert Sawyer.
Margarethe lived a life marked by creativity, curiosity, beauty, and undeniable magnetism. In her younger years, she was crowned Ms. New Smyrna Florida 1956 and also held the title Miss Legs of Miami. After attending community college, she built …
