I don’t exactly remember the year, but I remember that we used to have Time Warner cable and back then they had channels where it was karaoke and she used to always wanna do karaoke with me and ever since then I’ve been such an old soul.

So it was her 57th birthday and she came over to my apartment to hang out with me for the day. Had a wonderful homemade lunch, decided we were going to go for a walk at some point. I just had gotten a new puppy so she’s about seven weeks at the time, really tiny and a klutz.
Mom and I went on the walk with my boyfriend and as we were talking and walking, I fell on the uneven ground and broke my ankle 😅
We have so have so many silly memories but that now is one of my favorites. Easily.

My big sister Margie, may she rest in peace, and may she be reunited with her mother that loved her dearly. Her first born princess.
In loving memory of Miss Margie, I want to share a lil story of when I scared the crap out of her. One night I decided to sleep under a table that held a small T.V. On it.. it was the 80s, we were kids that did dumb crap… so long story short, I woke up, noticed the T.V. Was next to me…. I felt something wet on my face. I got up, went to the kitchen where I could hear Margie on the phone… when she saw me, the look on her face told me something-was wrong. But, I recall, she kept her composure, told me it was all ok, then took me to Coney Island Hospital at 2am… apparently the T.V. Had fallen and hit my head.. left a lump that bled for a bit, but all was well… I will never forget the look on her face, but she played it really smooth so I wouldn’t panic, and it worked!
So Marge, I may not have many memories to share, but from what I can remember, whenever you did breeze thru you had a hip, 80’s style look. Always dressed for those times, funky jewelry, heels, kinda punkish look… those were your younger care free years , I prefer to remember you that way!

She is such a good listener. Never judged, half the time she zoned out but she still listened
In response to "What made Margaret different from most people you know?"
