Marge's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret 'Marge' Stephenson on April 13, 2026.

Born in Michigan in 1948, Marge was the oldest of her siblings.  Her humor and wit were beautifully displayed when asked how she was feeling, she'd always say, "with my fingers”, an endearing sentiment she borrowed from her father.  She never missed an opportunity to make her loved ones feel special, always remembering family birthdays with a phone call and a heartfelt song.

Marge was a beacon of joy and warmth for her family.  She is survived by her loving husband Anthony Stephenson, whom she married in 2004, her daughters Christina and Suzette Spitzer, and sons Adam and Jon Spitzer, as well as 9 grandchildren.   She also leaves behind her sisters Nancy Boulahanis and Jacqui White and brother Lloyd Spitzer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

We remember with love those who Marge joins in rest, her brother Bruce Spitzer, and her parents Gloria and Marvin Spitzer. Marge was a unique individual whose spirit was as vibrant as her favorite color, purple.

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to this remarkable woman.  May Marge's memory be a blessing and forever illuminate the lives of those she touched.

Memorial service will be held Saturday,

 May 9, 2026   10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
