Margaret's obituary
Margaret Diane Rencsok, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on 4/26/2025 at the age of 83 following a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Cornelia, Georgia on 9/25/1941 to Clyde and Ruth (Henry) Harper and married the love of her life, Andrew Richard Rencsok on 8/25/1962. Margaret was the loving mother of Diane (Doug) Heyboer and Brian (Janet) Rencsok. She dedicated her life to her family and she was always eager to share stories with her grandchildren, including Andrew Heyboer and Jody Wycech, Peter Heyboer and Kristyn Anacker, Matthew Heyboer, Emily Rencsok and Kyle Kirwan, Amanda Rencsok, Ethan Heyboer and Eleda Plouch, and her great granddaughter Skylar Kirwan.
Margaret worked many jobs and was most passionate about her work at the St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center, where she worked for 20 years assisting teenage mothers with their babies and helping children and families in the foster care system. Margaret found joy in her creative talents, particularly drawing, and she enjoyed taking art classes to learn new skills and techniques. Her eye for art and decor were reflected in the hand-selected pieces she chose to furnish her beautiful home.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchild, brothers Charley (Inga) Harper and Wayne Harper, and extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place and she will be interred in the Chapel Mausoleum at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, Michigan, at a later date.
