Our hearts go out to Mrs. Kokoth’s family. She was kind, caring and capable in her work with young children. Our daughter Kathryn was blessed to have been in Miss Tischler and Mrs. Kokoth’s kindergarten classroom at Roxbury School. Kathryn began her kindergarten year with a broken arm. As such, she could not participate in recess or in gym class. Mrs. Kokoth remained in the classroom with Kathryn every day for those first 6 weeks. Never merely custodial or routine in her care of children, Mrs. Kokoth made this unfortunate time special and memorable, even taking photos of Kathryn and creating a scrapbook which we still have. We feel grateful and fortunate that she was present for Kathryn at such a tender time in our daughter’s life.
Mrs. Kokoth was a rare and wonderful person. Her memory will be a blessing.

Margaret and me. forever friends
I’m so sorry for your loss. I knew your mother from the Roscoe program at Roxbury. She really connected with my daughter when she was a kindergartener back in 1999. Always sweet and pleasant. May she Rest In Peace.

With sympathy,

Mrs. Kokoth, I will always remember your smiling face even if it was 6 am at the rink. We went on countless competition trips together and even if my parents weren’t there, you were always someone I could turn too. You will be forever missed... May God watch over you and your family RIP
Margaret will always be in my heart. I love her❤️ I love you girls you are in my prayers.
Love,
Marilyn Brown
