She was the greatest person I know kind compassionate, wise and just. I felt I got really close to her that summer I stayed with her. My dad was mean and abusive and my mom didn’t care let him hurt us so I was scared to go home, but I remember asking her if they treated us like that because we were not there real sons or didn’t want us (we were adopted),.. she looked at me with the most loving eyes and said if they don’t want you I do, you will always be my real grandson!! Love you miss you (Nate)  three grandsons they didn’t mention ( Jimmy Coleman  Anthony Coleman Nathaniel Coleman)

Donna Boxberger
1974, New Harmony, FL, USA
When I was a little girl growing up in New Harmony... I used to go visit Opal because I liked to play her piano. I would ride my bike 🚲 there because she lived very close. She told me “Donna, you have an ear for music. Have you ever taken piano lessons?” I told her no, that I would like to, but my parents couldn’t afford to pay for piano lessons. Well, being the generous woman that she was , she made arrangements for me to take piano lessons that she then paid for!
I had no idea then, that one day she would become my mother in law...

I have always loved her since I was a little girl and I will always love her. She was such a special lady to me. She was my mother-in-heart and I will miss her greatly!♥️
