I loved this woman with all my heart. I will miss her dearly.
Cheri,I’m so very sorry for your loss,I know how special your Mom was to you.......you were such a wonderful daughter to her,she was truly blessed to have you by her side, when she took her last breath...Can’t wait for the new system, when nobody grows old and dies...at least we have the hope that we will see our loved ones again....My love and prayers are with you and your family💖

My daughter said my friends mother needs a friend. I said great and I introduced myself to Peggy at the Senior Citizen Luncheon and we started to do lunch together. It did take me long to realize that Peggy didn’t need a friend, but I sure did. She was smart, kind and loving. I feel so lucky that she was my friend ❤️

When i was a kid, I always loved making the walk up Ackerly Terrace to stop by and visit Aunt Peggie. Seemed like the steepest hill in the world.
I distinctly remember one particular conversation that made me smile today.
I remember Laura being there and Aunt Peggie talking about the “Itty Bitty Titty Committee” and how I, probably around age 12, was a part of that. 🤣
It was so funny to me at the time. Looking back, she couldn’t have been more wrong. Definitely wasn’t the right club for me. Lol
I also remember her love for Cabbage Patch Kids. ♥️♥️♥️
Rest peacefully Aunt Peggie ♥️

In one of my earliest memories, I was about six years old and very sick at home. Aunt Peggie came over and sat on the edge of my bed. In her hand was a puzzle of a beautiful young girl sitting on a hill. Aunt Peggie kept me company while we put the puzzle together. Just having her there made me feel better.
That precious scene (of solace and companionship) played out many more times over the course of our lives. Aunt Peggie was a tremendous source of comfort and encouragement during some of the most challenging times in my life. I will always remember you, Aunt Peggie, with so much love in my heart. Thank you forever for you sense of humor, your tell it like it is nature, and your willingness to listen. I love you and always will... your niece, Dawn 💜
