My wife and I were so devastated to hear about Margaret's passing. She was the 'anchor' for their Familia, and was always calm as she dealt with everything in Life, up to and including her illness. She had such a 'presence' that everyone knew when Margaret walked into the room! While I know she will be watching over the Familia forever - we GRIEVE for them all, and hope they can one day heal their Hearts.
The Margaret I knew was a saintly example full of life and love for others st the Cstholic Student Center at McNeese State.   It is my certain knowledge that love followed Margaret wherever her footsteps passed.   God bless the Walther sisters and Margaret's family with cherished memories of her.

We are so sorry to hear of sweet Margaret's passing. We loved seeing her at mass and hearing her beautiful voice. She was always so kind to our Nora.  Margaret was one of the first people to welcome us to St. John Paul the Second. We will always remember her. Your family will remain in our prayers. Eternal rest grant unto Margaret, o Lord...

Love, Keith, Rhonda, and Nora

Margaret was a treasure of faith in her long illness. Always  a smile or kind word. It was a joy to be with  her. Peace and prayers for her loved ones.

I remember when I met Matgaret. It was in the 80's. We were in the Colony and even though she was sick, she was running the archery range for the cub scouts. She did not want to disappoint them. After that, she and Gabe have always been there. They stepped up to fill gaps to make sure events and challenges happened. Great memories Margaret.

She has left positive imprints in the lives of so many young people.

this is suzanne manieri from metairie, louisiana.. i am so sorry to hear about Margaret's passing.  i met her one time about 1.5 yrs ago when some of the  "Florane" crew was passing through new orleans on their way to the Gulf coast.. my life time friend (Kaye Florane) had just passed away so  i have known about John & Rita's  "bunch" from her and her parents..  what an enjoyable day we had meeting for the first time and getting pizza at a neighborhood restaurant.. i will always cherish that occasion..  If margaret does not know how to fish, i am sure another Florane is teaching her now  !!  condolences to the entire family and relatives...

We cherish, recall and celebrate those fleeting moments when our lives have intersected, while you leave us an enduring legacy.

Thus, an ode to our fond naturalist butterfly-whisperer:

Her tone of meaning but without the words.

Admittedly an eloquence so soft

Could only have had an influence on birds

When call or laughter carried it aloft.

Be that as may be, she was in their song.

More over her voice upon their voices crossed

Had now persisted in the woods so long

That probably it never would be lost.

Never again would birds' song be the same.

And to do that to birds was why she came.

I am so sorry for your families loss. She was such a huge part of our memories at Day Camp. She was always so kind. She will be missed dearly.
We are so sorry about Margaret's passing. May she rest in peace and may our merciful Lord carry Arturo and her whole family through these difficult times. We will miss Margaret's smiling and kind face at the Sotelo posadas. God bless you.
My sincerest condolences to Arturo and all the members of Margaret's family. Cancer may steal our earthly life but it can't steal our eternal legacy. Margaret leaves behind a legacy of exemplary stewardship and a Christ-like love of her fellow man. I first met Margaret at St. Mark's Catholic Church and later had the privilege of serving with her at Loreto House. Margaret truly was the face and hands of Our Blessed Mother to the mothers and their babies. Her kindness and passion for the LH mission was evident in everything that she did. Margaret also loved Scouting. She and Arturo lived the Scout oath by going above and beyond in their duty to God, their country, and the scouts they mentored. Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord. Margaret...you will be greatly missed here even as we try to honor your legacy by remembering your faithfulness, compassion, and love for others.
My chosen sister made my life in Texas as close to home as could be.  Margaret adopted my family over 20 years ago and became our closest friend. A truer disciple I have not known. This world is poorer without her. She will be so loved in heaven. So many great memories will be cherished.  I miss her deeply.

Primo and Family, I would like to use 2 Timothy 4:7-8 to Remember and Honor Margaret:

“She fought the good fight, She finished the race, She kept the faith. Now there is in store for her the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to her on that day—and not only to her, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
