I always enjoyed Margaret-Ann's birthday. I would get her a junior cheeseburger, small french fries and a chocolate frosty. She shared about how she and her husband, Will, would stop by Wendy's when they traveled. She also spoke of western Kansas. I lived in Garden City for a time and she lived in Liberal. We had the same experiences with the dust and wind!
I miss her.

When Margaret-Ann was at Garden Square, we celebrated her birthday in her favorite way. She loved Wendy's, so I brought in a junior cheeseburger (ketchup only), small fries, and a small chocolate frosty. We had such a pleasant visit, as she shared how she and her late husband, Will, used to travel some. Their favorite place to eat while traveling was Wendy's. We both enjoyed her birthday very much that day. I miss her.

Margaret-Ann and I were good friends for many years. After her husband passed away, we began meeting every Wednesday morning for a walk and donut holes. She had the coffee on and we shared buying the donuts. We had many pleasant conversations walking around the block at Broadview. No matter how hot it was, we would have coffee with our donut holes.
Margaret-Ann was always concerned that she remember birthdays of her children and grandchildren. (in her last several years, she felt bad if she missed any) She also made sure that she would give Christmas cards to her family. Several years during the Christmas season, she and I would go card hunting for her children and grandchildren. She always wanted to make sure they received a gift card or such.
She had a quiet gentle manner and enjoyed the simple things in life. I was disappointed when COVID hit and she was in lockdown for so very long. I will always remember my dear friend with fondness and love and I feel blessed to have shared part of my life with her.

Margaret Ann was a lovely person and a kind and caring aunt. She was always friendly and interested in what was going on in my life and the lives of my family. I know my Mom thought the world of her. May God bless you and your family.
