Margaret Ann Cope nèe Portwine passed away on August 4, 2024 in Ocala, FL. 

Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family in hospice care after she lost her battle to an extremely rare and aggressive form of dementia.

Born in Romeo, MI, Margaret attended and graduated Romeo High School in 1981. Following high school she spent 4 years at Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree. 

Margaret later moved to Orlando, FL and married Mack Alan Cope with whom she had two children, Madisen and McKensey and later separated  

Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Madisen and McKensey Cope; three sisters Cheri Wood, Mary Mahoney, and Sue Tomberlin. Margaret is predeceased by her parents Eugene "Fred", Portwine, Sr., Patricia Portwine, and her brother Eugene "Fred" Portwine, Jr.  

 Margaret was a person so full of love that she wanted to share with everyone around her. She went out of her way to make the smallest details show appreciation and care for those she knew. She will be deeply missed and remembered well.
