Margaret's obituary

The Life of Margaret Louise Alo

Margaret Louise (Ramirez) Alo, 72, of San Jose, CA went to be with our Lord and Savior after bravely battling pancreatic cancer.

Margaret was born on May 21st, 1951 in Denver, Colorado to Dolores “Jennie” Fajardo and John Ramirez, Sr. Margaret was a “military brat” until her preteen years, and lived in various places including Nebraska, Florida, the Philippines, and eventually, Hawaii. Beyond her professional life, Margaret found joy in serving her community and church. Her volunteer work with the U.S. Army Garrison in Belgium earned her recognition and awards from the Garrison commander overseas.

Margaret's zest for life extended to her love of travel. While she lived in Belgium, she would often explore Europe; while living with her daughters in the U.S., she would travel with her family. She cherished moments spent with her family, and especially her sisters, sharing laughter and family stories.
