Mardy's obituary

Our beloved Mardis "Mardy" Nichols entered into God's Kingdom on November 06, 2023 at age 65.

Mardy was born to Bobby and Leon Nichols on November 15, 1957 in Birmingham, AL.

Mardy met his wife of 36 years, Jane in 1985.  They married on February 25, 1987 and went on to have 2 children, Matthew and Hayley.  Mardy was passionate and devoted to his business, which he created and developed from the ground up. In addition to being a dedicated, hardworking and loving father,  Mardy also loved his Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God. He loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. Each Sunday, as part of the Extended Hands Ministry, Mardy would help spread the Word to the homeless around downtown Birmingham. Mardy joins his parents, Bobby and Leon Nichols in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Jane, his two children Matthew and Hayley, his sisters Michelle and Janet, and an array of nieces, nephews and grandkids.
