Marcus's obituary

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Marcus West on September 12, 2023, just shy of his 58th birthday. Born on September 16, 1965, Marcus lived a life full of love and lasting memories with his family and friends. His spirit will be carried forward by those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

His memory will be cherished by his surviving family members, his sons, Marcus West Sr., and Michael West; his beloved mother, Christel West; his supportive siblings, Cindy Hernandez and Gary West; all his adoring grandchildren, including Marcus West Jr., Charlotte West, Arabella Sinclair, Clara West & Step- Grandchildren Jubilee, Jace & Marlee; along with his Daughter in Laws, Holly West & Kaylee West. Marcus is predeceased by his loving father, Gary West, and his dear wife, Jaime West, both of whom he missed deeply.

Marcus was known for his love of fishing, with his favorite past time of taking family trips to Table Rock Lake. He was never happier than when he was in the company of his sons and grandchildren, creating priceless memories during these cherished activities. A devout fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, his team spirit was infectious, and game days will not be the same without him.

He will be profoundly remembered by all who knew him, including his nephews, niece, all of his family and his beloved dogs- Pebbles, Rocky, Misty, and Lucy. Marcus will be missed, but his legacy will live on in the stories and shared memories, providing comfort in the times of sorrow.

In this time of mourning, we find solace in knowing Marcus is reunited with his cherished wife and father in a place of eternal peace. His life was a testament to the strength of familial love, and his memory will serve as a beacon of this love for generations to come.
