Mark's obituary
Marcus "Mark" Jenkins, born April 15, 1964, was a man of many virtues who left us all too soon on January 3, 2025. Humorous, loving, and devoted, Mark left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Mark was a man of hearty laughter and endless love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Penni Jenkins; his children, Amber, Brittni, Taylor, and Marcus; his daughters-in-law, Kailee and Breanne; and his sons-in-law, Jose and Morgan. The light of Mark's life shone brightly in his many grandchildren, Jose, Delia, Jonah, Espe, Kaleb, Addy, Karlee, Reyna, Corbin, Oaklee, Kayce, and Savanna.
Mark was a classic Texan with a love for Fried Chicken, Whataburger, and Barq's Red Cream Soda. An avid sports enthusiast, he was a loyal supporter of his favorite teams including Dallas Stars, 49ers, Spurs, Trojans, and the Astros.
When not watching football with his beloved grandson or driving trucks - a job he loved and took great pride in - Mark could be found doting over his family. He believed in making life fun, a lesson he not only preached but lived by every day. One of his remarkable accomplishments was contributing to the construction of Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX.
While Mark's departure leaves behind an unfillable void, his memory continues living on in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. His warmth, wit, and wisdom made this world a better place, and he will forever be remembered for his incredible ability to make life fun.
