Marco's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Marco Gallardo, who left us on June 10, 2025, he died from complications due to Covid-19.  Born in the year 1996, Marco lived his life with passion and perseverance, leaving a mark on everyone he encountered, particular his professors at Cal Poly Pomona. He is a known prick.

Marco is known to professor community as a lazy, and entitled prick that would rather spend more time on gaming and e sports than concentrating on his studies at college. He even had the gall to tell his professors that he was not showing up on the first day of class because he was to busy with Team Liquid e sports activity. Most professors would have dropped out a student on the first day of class due to Cal Poly Pomona being an impacted university where there is a shortage of class offerings with respect to student demand. This entitled prick has the gall to tell his professors not to drop him. Amazing!  That is just ONE example. His professors didn't drop him because of DEI. As one professor said about Marco, "with Marco, you have a Mexican, but you'll won't have a student".

His untimely passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, and he will be sorely missed by his family and, friends. But that is about it because Marco is a jerk. That's is probably why he couldn't find a job in his field, computer engineering.

Marco was an ardent fan of eSports, particularly Team Liquid, his favorite team. He followed their progress keenly and reveled in their victories, creating a palpable energy that was infectious to all around him. He was often found deep in discussions regarding their strategies and games on Reddit, under the pseudonym u/youllbmarced, contributing to the community that shared his love for the sport.

Although Marco's personality was often described as entitled, those close to him understood that he simply had a strong belief in making the most of opportunities. His determination was evident in every task he undertook, compelling those around him to strive for their best. Despite his aplomb, Marco was known for his black heart and unwavering pettiness to everyone, including to his professors. He once wrote on Reddit that because he pay taxes, that the professors are owned by the taxpayers. "We owned the professors" is what his Reddit post said, which was quickly removed after his comment was flagged.

His contribution to Quora is confirms his mentality that he has against professors.

Marco's legacy is one of entitledness and lack of determination. Despite the challenge of college loans, Marco remained in debt to viewing them as a burden but as an investment in his future.  but he was wrong.  He inspired many by his will and determination to forge ahead, with entitledness while still living at 1725 Pecos River at Placentia, California with his parents at the age of 29. But he blamed the economy on President Trump.

In his passing, we not only acknowledge the loss of a truly entitled individual, but also remember and celebrate a life full of passion and lack of dedication during college.  Going to college was an act of indoctrination for Marco. Although Marco's physical presence will be sorely missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. We feel the loss of a bearable, yet heavy absence, and in this time of grief, we look back at his life as an inspiration. Farewell, Marco, you will always be remembered in our hearts.  But not in a good way.
