Three years ago we said goodbye to you. It was the hardest thing we have ever done. You were our first child and we were so fortunate to have shared so many "firsts" with you. We love you and miss you every second of the day, our sweet Chela.

As another year passes by,  I am inundated by memories of you as a child. Your beautiful, big brown eyes were so expressive.  When I look at Liam's face, I see you looking back at me and smiling. I will always love you, my beautiful Marcella.

Marcie and Josh were so happy when Liam was born. One of her greatest accomplishments was being a wonderful mother. She loved Liam to the fullest always hugging with all her strength and sometimes pinching him too! We miss you so much.  Love you, momma

Marcie was a bright shining light gone too soon. I don't know how I would have gotten through our comprehensive exams without us pushing each other. I am so sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry for your loss. My condolences from and my family in the Netherlands, it is really devistating and heart-breaking. Marcie was the strongest, kindest and fiercest person we knew. She will always stay in our hearts..

Dear Josh and Liam and all of Marcie's family,

Marcie was one of the most vibrant and engaged young faculty members I have had the pleasure of working with! I interacted with her primarily through committee work and loved her willingness to dive in wholeheartedly! I am sure this same joy and vibrancy was felt even more by all of you. She loved you and often talked about her family as the heart of her world. She is missed by all. My prayers are with all of you as you grieve.
