After a difficult and courageous battle with ovarian cancer Marcia Delicia Vigil passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Berkeley California to Eliseo and Stella Vigil, Marcia was described as a wonderful daughter. Marcia was passionate about the finer things in life from a very young age and participated in countless endeavors over the years; including early childhood development at the Oakland Army Base and caretaking her beloved mother, Stella. Marcia was fiercely loved by all children. She was our  most constant support for her mother, Grandma Vigil. Our family would not be where it is today if we didn’t have Marcia.  She leaves behind her daughters Nina Bajer and Malia Machado and her sons in marriage Pawel Bajer and Richard Brown. Her loving mother Stella Vigil. Her sweet grandchildren, Annabell, Ruby and Diego whom she adored. Marcia also leaves behind her siblings Pricilla Ann, Ricky, Eddie, Lawrence, Teresa DeLaO and her sister in law Mary Vigil. She is also survived by her MANY nieces and nephews and their children; who brought joy to her life daily. Her two aunts Cora Ogilvie and Sadie Cabral will always keep her memory in their hearts. Marcia will be welcomed into heaven by her father Eliseo Vigil and her brothers Donny, Kenny and Tommy and her nephew Augustine. Services will be held at Saint Elizabeth Parish Oakland California on February 24, 2024 at 1pm.
