Marc “Marco” Baughn was born on January 8th, 1962, in Heron Lake, MN, and passed away September 7th, 2025, at his home in Minneapolis, MN. He is survived by his mother, Helen Baughn, of Mankato, MN, and his half-brother, Bill Baughn, of Florida. Marc was close to his extended family including aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. He enjoyed family get-togethers and other opportunities to spend time with family. 

Marc lived most of his early life with his mother in Mankato. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1987, and moved to Minneapolis where he purchased his home. Marc worked for many years at US Bancorp and RBC Royal Bank as a financial advisor. He retired in June 2025. Marc was a devoted son, spending many weekends with his mother where she resides at Pathstone Assisted Living Facility in Mankato. Visitors are always welcome!

Marc loved to watch live music, go to the cabin, and laugh at happy hour with friends. He loved his dogs and took them wherever he went. Marc was a deeply loyal, humble, funny, and reliable friend, always willing to lend a helping hand. His story telling, kindness, and easy going personality will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 632 South Broad Street, Mankato, MN. Visitation will begin at noon with services following at 1:00 PM. 

Marc's friends are planning a “Celebration of Life” at one of Marc’s favorite gathering places, The Joint Bar, October 18 at 6:00 PM. The address is 913 Cedar Avenue, Minneapolis, MN. All are welcome. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Helen Baughn, Ecumen Pathstone, Room 3114; 718 Mound Ave., Mankato, MN 56001.

A private burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Brewster, MN, will take place at a later date.
