Our beautiful memories of Ms Maqing bring smiles and worm fillings. She was always gentle and honest with the staff and students for all nine years that she was teaching at the Westboro Montessori School. Every day her students felt her gentleness, kindness, compassion and love of teaching that aspired more knowledge and their independence. They were always around Maqing showing how much they loved her.

Maqing left us way too soon, but she leaves behind impressive legacy. She will never be forgotten and will live on in our hearts.

Maqing loved to teach children. Maqing taught Sunday school for many years at All Saints. She was singing in the choir, still made time to take Sunday school classes every other week. Since COVID Monday evening prayer meetings are on Zoom. She was there for prayers. She always thanked God for her girls and for their education and jobs. After the meeting, when everyone gone, she used to stayed back and we used to have good conversations about her day. She was so happy about her volunteer work (with her daughter) at the vegetable garden. I will miss her as a teacher at church, choir member and a prayer partner. I am happy she is not suffering anymore with headaches. I am sure she will be praying for us . Miss her big smile and gentle talk

I was deeply grieved to hear of Maqing passing. My heartfelt condolences to the family, whom she loved more than anything. I will always remember her as a happy, kind, giving soul who was always smiling, always thoughtful to everyone, got along very well with everyone, and lighted up wherever she was! I know I would not have had the same experience at work without her - I’m sure that is also true for many of the kids she taught and very genuinely embraced. I will dearly miss her.
