Manuel's obituary
Manuel graduated in 1941 from Roosevelt HS in Los Angeles, CA. He joined the Marines 1941-1945 WW2 Guadal Canal. He was a true patriot and warrior to the very end and last breath.
To quote Manuel, “Just like being a Marine, once a Marine, always a Marine for the rest of your life. Anybody who had served in the 2nd World War, they had so many brothers that were there with them. It was an honor to be with every one of them guys”. Semper Fi.
Manuel was a welder, commercial fisherman, retired from Lever Brother’s in the 1980’s. An Avid reader on history and sports. Loved the game of golf, hunting, boxing and horse racing. He will be missed by many.
Memorial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, New Mexico, in loving memory with Military Honors on January 30, 2019. Until we meet again, see you in my dreams, “You were the best”.
