Happy Birthday Amigo, my brother, my friend. I miss you more than I can articulate. I feel that it was a gift from God to bring us both to Florida and being a part of each other’s life. I’m happy that I had a chance to tell you how much I love you and how very proud I am of you for all that you give of yourself to help others. You will be in my heart forever. Everyday I pray that your soul is resting with our mother’s soul in peace. I love you Amigo.

I am so sorry to hear of Manuel's passing. He was one of my managers at VSC in Ohio. Truly a good friend!

I learned very quickly that Manuel was a wonderful man. He and I became friends very quick, we both was volunteering at Jesus Loves You ministries and have the same. Interest in helping other people. I have been mechanically inclined, and Manuel picked up on that and needed some advice to have some work done on his car. I was able to get him to a very honest man to do the work that he needed to done on his car. I went over to his house one day to help him move some furniture around. I will miss Manuel!

It’s hard to believe it’s already been three weeks since we lost my uncle Manuel. We love and miss him very much. He was such an important part of our lives.
We’ve been deeply moved by the outpouring of love from his community.
On behalf of our entire family, thank you for the cards, flowers, phone calls, donations to charity, and all the other acts of kindness you’ve shown. We especially love hearing how Manuel touched lives and made a difference in the community — those stories have brought us peace and strength.
We know Manuel’s memory will continue to be a blessing to all who knew him.

Manuel was a very gracious man. We would see each other on Wednesdays at JLYM. He always had a minute to stop by and catch up with me while he was making his tea and I was busy in the kitchen preparing a meal for our campers. He had a great smile and laugh that I will never forget. He is truly missed but will never be forgotten.

We were heartbroken to hear of Manuel's passing. We have been blessed to serve the Lord with him at Family Church and went on several mission trips together to work at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse in Atlanta. He served the Lord with such enthusiasm and joy and was a blessing to us all. We miss him very much and our prayers are with his family.

I met Manuel about 4 years ago at Anytime Fitness here in Port Charlotte. We hit it off right away. He even came to our house for Thanksgiving that year. We bonded over our shared faith, sense of humor and love for laughter. I also would send him song recommendations when I would hear some new praise and worship music. In fact, I had just shared the new Lauren Daigle song with him on the 12th of August. We used to ride the spin bikes for over an hour on Tuesday's and Thursday's. He was liked by everyone, and we will miss his smile and laugh when we do our breakfast club. He was able to join us starting this past February. He was truly a friend from God. He was so easy to talk to and share with. I will miss that the most.

I feel so blessed to have known Manuel. He always met me with a smile and word of encouragement as we served together at Jesus Loves You Ministry. He was always willing to serve with no accolades expected from anyone. He truly had a servant’s attitude and a humble spirit. Our hearts are saddened, but encouraged, that we will see him again because of his faith in Jesus.

Condolence to Manuel's family. We take comfort in the fact that though Manuel is "Gone too soon" we know that as a Christian, "To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord". Manuel had such a servant's heart, and he used it well to serve in so many areas, the homeless, the Prison ministry, the Awana children, He will be missed on the church's Opperation Christmas Child Mission Trip in December. Manuel has been a blessing to so many, always ready to share his humor, love of people, and willing to help wherever he found a need. I got to know him on his first Operation Christmas Child trip to Atlanta where we packed the shoeboxes going to children around the world. We had 3 more trips to the Atlanta warehouse together with our Family Church friends, but believe me, we all will miss Manuel.
Manuel and I worked together every Wednesday at Jesus Loves You Ministry taking in donations, sorting and filling the JLY Resale Store. Very tiring work, but we always had time for fun and maybe a story or two!
What a Christian Gentleman, what an example of how God would have us serve and share His love. I miss him so much, but I know I will see him again.

I’ll always remember my time serving with Manuel at JLY with deep appreciation. Our morning catch-ups — him making a tea, me grabbing yet another cup of coffee — became such a simple but meaningful routine. Manuel brought a quiet steadiness, always incredibly genuine and kind, and deeply committed to the work and the people around him. He made the ministry better just by being part of it, and I’ll truly miss working alongside him.
