Tribute Aunty Regina Che
*Aunty Regina Che: The Woman Who Impacted My Life in Many Ways!*
Aunty, saying your sudden demise was shocking is an understatement! I am still trying to make sense of this tragedy! I lack words to express my grief! I am devastated!
You were like a mother to me and impacted my life in many ways. Always loving, supportive, kind, joyful and encouraging.
- [ ] You took me to my first EXSSA (EX Saker Students Association) meeting in Bamenda, just a year after I left Saker Baptist College, our Alma mater.
- [ ] You and uncle Amabo Che, after my dad passed away, took my younger sister Nkonghonyor under your wings and became her sponsors. Such a huge act of generosity and kindness.
- [ ] You traveled all the way from Arizona, USA to Cameroon this June to join us celebrate our mom, Mrs. Helen Anyangwe’s 80th birthday in Yaoundé, Cameroon. You were Mami’s walking stick throughout that celebration making sure she was okay.
- [ ] You called always to check and give health advice on Mami & Ejens!
- [ ] You never wanted me to be left behind and always shared your new business ventures with me and encouraged me to get involved. On matters concerning OnPassive, you were constantly sending me information, Zoom meeting reminders and even took my login information to make sure I was involved and not left behind.
- [ ] You and I talked about writing a book together on Diet and Kidney Disease, but unfortunately that never happened!
I say THANK YOU for your impact on my life! And on behalf of my mom and siblings, we say THANK YOU!
I will miss your calls and our long conversations, the last one being just a week before you passed which lasted almost an hour.
RIPP dearest Aunty Regie!
Love you, your daughter,
Dr. Njwen Anyangwe-Ngute
