Malachi "Demarcus" White, age 15, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina. Born on May 14, 2010, in Greenville, South Carolina, Malachi brought joy and energy into the lives of all who knew him.

A proud student at Lakewood High School, Malachi was in the 10th grade and had already made a lasting impression among his peers and teachers. Known for his vibrant personality and leadership qualities, he earned both the “Most Matured Student” and “Class Clown” certificates—an endearing combination that reflected his ability to balance responsibility with humor. As captain of the high school football team, Malachi led with determination and heart. His love for the game was more than a pastime; it was a dream he carried with pride and passion.

Beyond the football field, Malachi found joy in music. He especially loved playing the drums at church—a place where his rhythm and spirit came alive. He often spoke of drumming as his “future,” a phrase that captured both his hopefulness and deep connection to music.

Malachi is lovingly remembered by Donna White and George White Jr., who stood by him throughout his journey. He joins Naomi White and George White Sr., who preceded him in passing.

Those who knew Malachi will remember a sweet boy whose laughter could light up a room and whose dreams were as big as his heart. His memory will continue to inspire those who shared in his life.
