Majorie's obituary
Marjorie "Margie" Hull, born on October 6, 1933, passed away at home on December 25, 2010. She was a woman of many names, but she preferred Marge. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, kindness, and endurance will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved her.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters Darla Schofield, Tina Greer, and Cheryl Schofield; her grandchildren Teija Schofield Leach, David Jay Schofield, Chad Schofield, Schyler Schofield, Glenn Greer, and Autumn Schofield Vanderford. She was predeceased by her son Colby Ward Sheely; her granddaughters Rachel Schofield, Christena Greer, and Sandra Jean Greer; her mother Glenna Smith; her father Lloyd Grimes; her sisters Beatrice (Bea) Dean and Georgia Tenberg; and her daughter Gail Ulery.
In 1982, Marjorie retired from a career at Motorola and later, in 1984, she took ownership of Cappy's Tavern. She enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies and interests, including Mexican cuisine, coffee, beer, romance novels, and spending time at her favorite vacation spot, Rocky Point. Locally, she was often seen at Big Apple, where she enjoyed eating STEAK. Her favorite colorwas red. and listened to country western music. She was a fan of oldies TV shows and Jeff Dunham with Peanut performances. Her favorite games included solitaire, crossword puzzles and Scrabble.
Marjorie loved to keep her mind sharp with various recreational activities such as crochet, bingo, cooking, and baking. She stayed physically active by doing arm curls as her preferred method of exercise and loved to dance.. Her personality can best be described as loving, sarcastic, witty, hilarious, and playful.
Throughout her life, Marjorie shared valuable lessons with those around her, such as how to be strong, the importance of having an emergency cash stash, and standing up for one's beliefs. Her greatest accomplishment was her children, who she loved dearly and raised with strength and kindness.
Marjorie Hull's life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will always be missed and forever be loved.
