Madilynn Jade Hess, age 14 months, of Salem passed away at her home on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

Madilynn was born on January 14, 2020 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the daughter of Kaitlynn Ruscher and Konner Hess.

Madilynn passed away unexpectedly leaving her loved ones heartbroken and devastated. Madilynn’s passing was due to an unknown illness that caused her to have breathing complications.

Even though she only spent a short amount of time with us, she is immensely loved and brought immeasurable joy and laughter to those around her. Madilynn’s smile would completely melt your heart. You couldn’t help but smile when she looked at you with her big beautiful eyes and that precious smile. Madilynn was an extremely happy baby and always smiling and giggling. Words can not express how much she will be missed.

Her family was devastated by the loss of Madilynn’ s and was not prepared for the funeral cost. They want to give Madilynn the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say their last goodbyes.

We currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Madilynn’s funeral, as well as any additional unexpected expenses her mother may encounter counter durning this time.
