MADELEINE's obituary
Maddy loved to help people and donated to many charitable organizations. She loved her cats and always found room for one more. Maddy was her Mother’s caretaker for 6 years before she passed. Maddy was the family nurse and you could always call her for advice. She loved her family and loved all her nieces and nephews.
Maddy graduated from Cherry Hill High School in June 1979. Maddy went to cosmetology school and became a certified hair dresser. Maddy also spent time being a CNA and was always helping people less fortunate than her.
MADELEINE is survived by her husband, Richard A. Stein, daughter and husband Victoria and Leonard; her three sisters and husbands and her brother and his wife, Jane and Tony, Maryann and Tony, Johanna and Vincent, James and Jenny. Her sister Fredericka Smith passed away in January of this year. MADELEINE mother, Maryann Smith (spouse Roy) passed away in 2017. She is also survived by her three nieces and one grand niece and nephew, Angel Canizzaro (daughter Anjoli), Tanda Alvarez, Ashley McEnroe ( son Nicholas )and brother-in-law, Steve Smith. She also had two brother-in-laws and one sister in law; Robert (spouse Laura), Harry Laute (spouse Debra), andPatricia. All of these she touched deeply.
Because of the Covid-19 we are limited to 10 people at the Church. We will be having a private funeral service at Our Lady of Peace in Millmont Park, Pa on May 14, 2020. Immediately following, we will be going to Holy Cross Cemetery (services at 11:30), 626 Bailey Road, Yeadon, PA 19056. If you wish to attend the gravesite memorial you must have a mask on and we must practice social distancing. Flowers are welcomed.
