In 2011,Where he would make Fl.his new home.Gene went home unexpectedly at his residence to be with his parents and our Lord and Savior on June24,2024.Gene has a older sister Linda Sue Blake(Sissy)along with grandparents who will also meet him there to welcome him home.Gene leaves behind his only child Jamie Eugene Mann(kyandee moore) of Tanner Al.3 grandchildren Addlynn,Jasper, and Braylon Moore,Gene is survived by his remaining 4 siblings Pamela(Anthony)Talley of Montgomery Al, Ina Mann of Wetumpka Al, Paul(Kimberly)Mann of Elmore Al,and Tina(Joey)Jones of Danville Va. Gene also leaves behind an abundant amount of nieces and nephews along with a lot of other family members and great friends.Gene was a very hard worker,He started working at Wetumpka roofing company at the age of 15, and even though he could do just about anything he loved roofing and he continued to roof until the day he was called home.Gene had a very rough childhood being teased a lot because of his hair lip and cleft pallet but that didn’t define him,it just made him stronger.Gene was a very smart and loving person,he had a heart of gold.He would literally give you the shirt off his back.Gene loved to work and fish that’s the only life he knew. The loss of a brother is a indescribable turning point in life’s journey, that the family has to now live with and try to heal from,But Gene will forever be loved, missed, and remembered.Gene wanted to be cremated and set sail down the dam where he loved to fish or just sit in his truck and think when life got tough.Gene was always the life of the party when he was around. He loved to laugh,or play tricks on people and just enjoy life to the fullest.Gene’s boss man in Florida told us each morning he would ask Gene “how’s it going “ and Gene would always reply with “just another day in paradise boss” and that sounds just like something he would say,so I guess he finally made it to paradise.”Living In Paradise” Mack Eugene Mann
