Maci's obituary
Maci was born to Martin and Sarah (Draden) Luntz, both of Jamestown on November 3, 1985. She grew up in Jamestown, attending Jamestown High School and graduating in 2003. She went on to pursue a career in dance. Graduating with a masters degree in dance education from Carleton College, Maci went on to form and direct the Jamestown Elite Dance program. She rarely spent time away from dancing, coaching, or choreographing. She brought out her love for dance everyday, and her involvement in the dance community will always be remembered.
Maci married Curtis Campbell on July 19, 2008. They lived together in Jamestown and had five children together. Maci loved spending time with her children.
Maci is survived by her husband, Curtis, and five children: Jayden (7), Karter (7), Carleigh (6), Miley (4), and Cara (2); two step-children: Hudson (12) and Hadley (10); her parents: Martin and Sarah Luntz; two brothers: Richard (Lindsey) Luntz of Fargo, ND and Damon (Nadia) Luntz of Crookston, MN; four sisters: Jessica (Derek) Morris of Jamestown, ND, Charlotte (Aaron) Don of Spokane, WA, Mandy (Craig) Appleton of Oakes, ND, and Natalie Luntz of Mandan, ND; six nephews: Luca (17), Thomas (14), Aiden (9), Kayden (7), John (7), and Dameon (4); nine nieces: Lilly (18), JoAnna (16), Gracie (14), Jennifer (10), Maddisyn (7), Braelynn (5) Payton (3), Allie (2) and Sadie (1); Curt’s parents: Harriet and Greg Campbell, and Curt’s brother: Cole Campbell, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by several members of the NDADD and NDA.
Maci is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack (Lois) Luntz and William (Margaret) Draden.
Memorial service will be held at William- Lisko Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 5 pm.
Burial will be in the Highland Home Cemetery of Jamestown, ND at a later date.
A showcase dance memorial in honor of Maci will be held at the Jamestown Civic Center by the Jamestown Elite Dance Company on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
The family asks that memorials be sent in Maci’s honor to the North Dakota Association of Dance and Drill, the Jamestown Elite Dance Company, it to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
