Lynus Erickson, much loved son of Christian and Shelley Erickson, brother of Astrid and Asmund Erickson, died in a motorcycle accident in Boston on June 22, 2021.

Lynus was a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in film studies and philosophy. He was a talented and growing photographer and videographer, and was honored with the position of senior photo editor at the Daily Collegian for the upcoming school year. An avid hiker, he loved the outdoors year round and was active in the UMass Outing Club. He was increasingly fluent in Japanese. In his "prop shop" he built and painted film-quality replicas of Boba Fett helmets and armor.

Throughout his growing years, Lynus loved Thomas the Tank Engine, Ultraman, and building with Lego bricks.

He is dearly loved and missed.
