Oh, we are so shocked & heartbroken that Lynus has passed. He was a truly kind and warm human. He was a treasure.
PJ was so inspired by him in his 3D craftsmanship and was excited for future collaboration. They geeked out a bit over their shared craft and that was a beautiful thing! We are thinking of all of you- Shelley, Christian, Astrid, & Asmund. Our hearts ache as we pray for all of you with sincere hope for God’s presence to be undeniably with you.

Dear Christian and Shelley, we just don't know what to say. We can only attempt to imagine your pain. We love you guys and praying for you.
Lynus was such a blessing to …
Lynus was such a blessing to our family, especially to Dan. That will never change. Love and prayers to you all.
Shelley, Christian, Astrid and Asmund- We are heartbroken and devastated by this news and the loss of Lynus. Sounds like he was truly an amazing person and had so much talent and life. We are grieving with you. May the peace that surpasses understanding from the Lord and his grace and comfort envelope you all during this unimaginably difficult time. Praying for you all.

We are very sad for your loss. We will miss Lynus so much! Yasuto and I have many memories of spending time with Lynus, his siblings, and parents. He was a "beautiful baby," as his great grandmother, my mother, often said. And why do I remember Shelley communicating with Lynus by using sign language? This was a mystery to us all but Lynus, even then, was patient with his mom. Throughout the years, off and on, we had the privilege of being with Lynus and watchig him grow up to be a thoughtful, intelligent and cheerful young man. He often seemed to observing everyone quietly and in a way protecting his family, especially his brother and sister. Just 2 years ago, he came to stay with his grandparents. I remember thinking when we met him then, " Such a nice young man and cute, too and what a catch he'll be." Isn't that what an aunt often says? But I really mean that. I also remember his honesty when I started asking him so many questions as if I were a detective. (That's what aunts do.) Where did that honesty come from? I really liked that. We feel so blessed to have spent time with him then.
He is our precious nephew --he will always stay with us in our hearts.

Oh,I am so sorry to hear this.I remember the time ,years ago when you all came to help me garden. May God comfort you all somehow, and give you peace.
I will, now, always remember our (Susan and Randy) time together, with you and your family, in Rockport, Massachusetts, during the pandemic summer, as a sacred time--our last time to be with you. I'm thankful to have known you and even more grateful now to be in relationship with the rest of your beautiful family. You have all grown more precious--life is so precious!

When I first moved to Massachusetts I knew very few people which is why started going to the Ultimate Frisbee days at Beaver Brook. It was there that I first met Lynus and he was one of the first people to take time to introduce himself. I remember him arriving on his bicycle ready to jump into the fray even after his long rides to get there. I will always treasure the kindness he showed me and I will fondly the remember the moments where he would take time to strike up a conversation and geek out over his latest hobby (of which there were many). Lynus, you brightened the world around you and I will always treasure the moments I was able to share with you.
