Lynn Grace Owens, 75, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on August 19, 2024. Born on June 12, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, Lynn was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth and Robert Fosler.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Kenneth (Ken) Owens. She was a devoted mother to her children, Jonathan Brooks (Cheryl) and Laura Brooks. Her treasured grandchildren include Shelby Simmons (Michael), Tristan Brooks, and Patrick Brooks, as well as her great-grandchildren Michael Simmons III, Marshall Simmons and Parker Brooks-Plummer.
A dedicated mother, Lynn attended nursing school while raising her young children. She earned her diploma and went on to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), from which she retired. Lynn found immense joy in mountain life, delighting in the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings that the mountains provided. Her love for the mountains was a cherished part of her life, bringing her a deep sense of contentment and connection to the world around her. Lynn also had a vibrant artistic spirit. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, teaching her grandchildren how to color and paint, and immersing herself in her beloved books.
