Lynn Ann Miller Gizzi, 83, passed away peacfully on April 15, 2024

Lynn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1941 to Gerald Regis Miller and Eleanor May Barkley Miller. Lynn graduated from Avalon High School in 1958, then worked as a secretary for a stockbroker located in downtown Pittsburgh.  She then met and married Robert Joseph Gizzi in September 1963.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her eldest child, Steven Robert Gizzi, and beloved dog Tuffy, and cats Silver and Grayson.  

Lynn is survived by daughter, Sandra Gizzi Phillips and son-in-law, Brian Phillips of Crystal River, Florida and Laura Gizzi-deMocskonyi of Houston Texas.  She is also survived by her beloved cat Scotty, as well as 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held in Gainesville at her church where she served as a faithful member of the Angels of Mercy; serving communion to those members unable to attend mass in person.

Lynn will be buried at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania next to her husband after a chapel service on premises. 

A third memorial will be held sometime in the near future in Kanab, Utah at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary where Lynn was a Golden Circle member.  We will bury her beloved pets and memorializ them in her honor.
