Lynette's obituary
She passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Dexter House, Malden, MA after a long struggle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
She attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from High School. During her high school years, she dated her high school sweetheart, Keith Miller.
She met and married Ronald F Quintyne Sr. (formerly deceased); and from this union came forth a son, Ronald F Quintyne Jr.
She decided to advance her career and attended and graduated from Cosmetology School where she landed a job at Bloomingdales Exclusive Beauty Salon and Spa. She had pride in her appearance. She cared how she looked to the point when she was not looking presentable or looking her best, rest assure you were not going to see her until she was well put together from head to toe. While working at Bloomingdales Exclusive Beauty Salon and Spa she meant and later married Ford Gibson (formerly deceased); from Annandale, VA; they were blessed with a daughter Melissa Gibson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her father Homer G. Thibodeaux, Sr., Pembroke, MA; her son Ronald Quintyne-Gibson, Fall River, MA; her daughter Melissa Gibson, Upper Marlboro, MD; her brothers, Homer (Christine), Mattapan, MA; Robert (O’Leatha), Dorchester, MA; Francis (deceased) (Terry), Dorchester, MA; Richard, Stoughton, MA; Gary (Valjeanne), Dorchester, MA; Mark (Rosie), Brockton, MA; Tracy (Annette), West Roxbury, MA; and Daniel (Sandy), Memphis, TN; her sisters, Francine Ming, N. Quincy, MA; Rev. Irma, Stoughton, MA; and Tina Ugwu, Memphis, TN; Grandchildren Naijah Garrett, Reese Ray, Tyrese Ray and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
