Lynday's obituary

Lynday Mammoccio, 73, of Woodbury, New Jersey  passed away on January 23, 2026, surrounded by her friends and family.

Lynday was born on December 16th, 1952 to Eileen and Robert in Woodbury, New Jersey and  immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Lynday went on to graduate as an honor student. After graduating from high school, Lynday went on to pursue a degree in teaching at Rowan University . Lynday fell in love with teaching  which kicked off a number of years in the field. In 1976, she met Brian Mammoccio and the two were inseparable from that point on. Lynday and Brian were married for over 40 years and had two beautiful children, Brian Mammoccio Jr and Samantha Mammoccio. Lynday was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Lynday was predeceased by her husband Brian Mammoccio, her parents Eileen and Robert, granddaughter Kenzie Mammoccio, and numerous cousins, uncles and other family members. She is survived by her children, Brian and Samantha, grandchildren, Gianna Mammoccio, Angelo Mammoccio and Austin Mammoccio and great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Roman. Lynday was known for her generous spirit and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She had a warmth that drew people to her, and her legacy of kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations to a local charity that supports maternal and child health, reflecting Lynday’s lifelong dedication to family. Her light and love will be profoundly missed.
